OK so it’s a GLOAT to keep me COOL.
My garage faces west, which means I get COOKED as the sun goes down. I originally had planned to add a couple of ceiling fans. I saw this in last Sunday Lowe’s sales flyer. The fan can rotate in its ceiling bracket and tilted allowing you to aim it where you want it. The directions say to install the ceiling bracket where two joists intersect. (As in form a + ). My garage roof is set up with trusses so I added blocking on both sides of one of the truss to give me something to screw into. The work light doesn’t seem to function. Even if it did the bulb guard is so heavy that the “snake light” arm won’t stay adjusted. I plan to remove it. The fan can be lifted out of its ceiling bracket and used as a floor fan. It does a good job of moving air. It is a touch on the noisy side. But it beats cooking!

Wow...that's a really nice fan, Clint. I may have to check that out as I could use another one or two for my shop.
