Nested Boxes

These are 4 cedar boxes, that nest inside each other. The smallest is 3/4" by 1 1/4"; the largest is 2 1/2" by 3 3/4". The cedar came from the poles of a 95 year old barn that blew down. The finish is an antique oil finish.

The natural edge walnut bowl is 4' by 2 1/2" high. Finish is antique oil and wipe on varnish. Critiques welcome.

I love the little boxes - what a novel idea!! Gotta give you a thumbs up for that one.

Are you sure that walnut piece is 4 feet across? ;) I know--you just forgot the shift key for that one. It's pretty!!

Ron, that is some fine work - a neat idea with the boxes. The only suggestion I have is to have made the finials on the nested boxes match.
