Here are a few pics of a shelving unit I made in the mid-90’s to compliment a nearby dresser. Structurally these are ordinary oak bookshelves, but I got a little carried away with details again. Lots of scroll-saw work, chiselling, carved cherry accents, texturing with a wire brush, inlaid ceramic tile, and I burned the finish here and there to bring out the grain and make it look older.

What strikes me about your work is the creativity. I'm really impressed with your out-of-the-box designs. Terrific! I also really like the carvings on your jewelry box. These are a welcome break from the typically square, minimalist designs that are so common today.
