Sorry for the lack of good photos. I finished this yesterday. This morning going out the door, I shot these photos quickly and then the batteries went dead in the wife's camera. Grabbed the spare set...She had swapped but not charged them.....

About 5" tall.....4-4 1/2" diameter....wall thickness 1/4" at top gradually tapering to 3/8" nearing the bottom. Bottom 1/2" thick. All by design to make it bottom heavy for use. This is some "dunno Peck Idaho wood" given to me by Forrrest Price...given to him by some folks near Peck, Idaho. It now resides on the side of a mountain overlooking the Clearwater River and Peck, Idaho. Finish is antique oil exterior....black acrylic paint interior....

Some dear friends were celebrating their 50th anniversary. He is my elk hunting guru. I can't begin to tell you the joys I've experienced with him in the mountains of Idaho. A big friendly ever-so generous man.....Elk hunting, mushrooming, fishing, ground squirrel hunting....Sandy would come to camp with Larry and be our camp cook for the 10 days each fall. I hope he is alive to celebrate their 51st...........

Very nice Ken! I like the dunno wood and it certainly sounds like the piece is going to some great folks! I also like way you did the bottom and your signature notation.
