Hi,

Been busy in the shop these last few days making a few pens, these were my favorites from today.

Curly koa on El Toro's. The finish is four coats of sprayed lacquer, then micro meshed...the pens were turned with a skew, no sanding was required.

Oh Wow, those are nice! All of your pens are incredible but I think these might be some of my favorites. Makes me wish I was sitting on the beach in Hawaii and writing a postcard to home with one of them.

Now THAT's bad@$$! I'm impressed. You've inspired me to try some pens.

Where did you get these great looking fountain pen kits?

OOOhhhh, those are really nice! Is the metal steel or silver or something else (clip and rings)? Those should fetch a nice reward.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks, the pen kit is called an El Toro, but Craft SUpply calls the same kit the Havana.....it's not unusual for a kit to have different names from a few different suppliers.

Chris,
The hardware is called platinum, it's a plating that is super durable and the only hardware I use for pens I sell (sold one last night :D ). Plating is like advice, you get what yopu pay for, eh!

All ,

Thanks for your kind thoughts..
