My $15 Campbell Haufeld regulator died. I want to replace it with a regulator that is easier to adjust. I looked at Sears and didn't see anything that seemed better, albeit more expensive - $50. Any sources will be appreciated.

Byron,
How easy to adjust are you looking for? I've got a basic one from Harbor Freight, much less than $50. To adjust just turn knob on the top and change the output pressure. Not much to it.

Dean, thanks for your input. The knob that I am using requires too much effort to adjust - relative to the "master knob" on the compressor. I think one of the problems is its size. the knob on the compressor is twice the size. Anyway I have to replace the current one and I wnat get one that is easier to adjust.

Byron,
The HF one that I got is actually a little bigger than the one on my compressor and is very easy to turn and adjust. This is a regulator with a built in filter and separator. It also came with a lubricator that I removed as I don't want oil in all my air lines.

The price was $19.99 ITEM 42035-2VGA Just go the the HF website and search for air filter.
