Cherry utility bowl

9" cherry bowl, turned green to completion. (wet cherry is just awesome...) sanded and mineral oil. It's been used in the kitchen for about 3 weeks holding fruit. I'm pretty fond of the final warped shape.

Nice bowl Patrick! The nice thing about cherry is it will darken over time - so if you like it now - you are going to love it in a couple of years!

I have several warped bowls and they are conversation pieces and do well holding fruit etc. .Nice work on your bowl I like the color.

I too love Cherry, (green to finish) I have been turning it for the last two weeks, largest one is l8 dia, that one was ruff turned to let dry. All the rest are turned green to finish, and they are a big hit. I will try and get photos.
