Could all of you seasoned veterans please tell me or point me in the best direction to begin learning Corel Draw. I did find www.lynda.com (http://www.lynda.com) and they seem to have a pretty good offeting. I have not bought a laser yet but i was told that one of the essentials would be to learn Corel Draw.

Might there be any other suggestions for using the laser. What software might you also suggest.

I have some video of the basics for Corel on my web site. Look down the index on the left, on my home page, and you will find Corel Tutorial.

Jerry, We have a 3-disc set done by Roy Brewer, CorelDRAW Applied--the three discs are on Basics and Layouts; Creating Logos from Scratch; and Scanning Solutions. They are available from ARA (Awards and Recognition Association). Some of the narrative is dry, and some of the applications he discusses are very esoteric, but overall it's a good set and a handy addition to your library.

Thank you both very much.

I just went over to Amazon.com and they have a Lynda.com DVD and booklet. It sends you to the www.Lynda.com (http://www.Lynda.com) and they give some very good, although basic information

Thanks again

Snatch Every Tutorial you can on the Net...

Have a Wife (in my case) that throws all kinds of difficult projects at you and after you get through with the  ... Figure it out...

In short, Read-Read-Read and listen to the advise on this Board...

They have helped me so much and we are actually getting very busy!!!

I looked at this page. I thought the demos were very good. What I did not like is you have to be a member of ARA to get the better price. Do you know if its sold any other place besides through ARA.org

Unleash.com has some stuff. I bought their training DVD, but haven't had time to go into it.

IMO, ARA is worth the fee, so if you plan on buying the ARA stuff, you may want to consider joining as well.
