Frame Raising at Bonnaroo

If anyone is going to the Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival in Manchester, TN next weekend, we will once again be raising our portable timber frame at the "Green Pod" in the camping area.

I'll also be conducting workshops in sustainable forestry and green building.

They are--didn't sell out like years past, maybe something to do with gas prices. They also have day passes and the line up is great this year :cool:

Bonnaroo actually bought the farm it's held at last year so we're trying to talk them into having us build some permanent frames for next year. If so we'll be assembling a fairly large crew for it and maybe do a timber framing workshop as part of it.

Looks like fun. I might be interested next year, but not this. In 1999, I took a timber framing class at Goshen in Frankin, NC. Loved it, but didn't get to do the raising.

Looks like a cool thing you've got going on down there. I was going to go to the festival but just couldn't afford it. The lineup is great though.
