A number of months ago there was a thread that had a link to a website that provided a service where you put a particular item on the list and they would notify you via email if the price on that item dropped.

Anyone familiar or remember the web address.

I'm trying to get the Delta T2 fence for as little as possible. Eventually I will be getting a real TS, but for the time being I just need to get my old CM TS usable with minimum investment.

Buy a good fence, maybe a Biesemeyer commercial, and when you buy a new TS, buy it without a fence and move your quality fence over. That way, you'll get a good fence now and in the future - and you'll pay less for your TS when you buy it.

Keep your old fence so that you can put it back on your old TS when you sell it.

Dunno about Amazon watcher, but checkout your local Lowes, they've been closing out a lot of Delta items, including the unifence and T2, you might find one still available.

There may be more than one, but Frozen Warrior (http://frozenwarrior.com/) is the one I check out.

I did what Mike suggested. Bought the AlumaClassic fence used for $100, and the Delta 36-979 without fence from Lowe's.

Im very happy with my Powermatic fence. Its made by Vega for Powermatic. I can set it to 1/32" by the scale and be confident its accurate

Lowes has been clearencing the Unifence for around $100 which to me is a steal for this fence system.

What size do you want - 30"??

I will help keep an eye out for you on fences as I look for deals.

Tom - I see the Delta Unifence 30" rails in the classifieds.

Mike - I've seen a number of threads here where Lowes has been blowing out the T2 30". Not in Oregon yet. The 30" inch would be more than adequate for my needs. Mind you, I'm not married to the Delta fence. But it does seem to represent the best bang for the buck.

My lowes had the unifence on clearence for 89.99. If I didn't have a bessy on my crapsman I would have pick it up.

If you were closer to Ohio, we would talk. I upgraded from a T2 to the Unifence (thanks Lowes!) and am looking to sell my T2. Unfortunately, due to no boxes for the T2, I am not interested in shipping it.

When it comes to woodworking tools out here in the Portland metro area, it's pretty slim pickings. Used Uni's are very infrequently available, and when they pop up they disappear pretty quick. As for Lowes selling the Delta T2 fence for $89.99, I check my Lowes several times a week. They haven't budged from $150.

The Weatherford Texas Lowes had 2 of the 30" T-2 fences for 89.95 about a month ago. I don't get out there often to see if they are still there or not. Jim.
