Can anyone please help me find a drawing to help turn a Windsor chair leg. I understand that the 2 joinery ends are somewhat "standard", but you have some design ability in the middle third. All assistance will be appreciated!
Thankyou, Les

Hi Les.

I don't have my copy handy but look up Drew Langsner's books on his site at countryworkshops.org I have his Chairmakers Workbook and it is great. I see he also has some patterns available but I don't know anything about them.

Hope this helps,

The Chairmaker`s Workshop by Drew Langsner has some great measured drawings and at one time you could even order it out of the Grizzly catalog. I think it was around $25.00 and it is better than several books I have on Winsdor chairs that was twice the price. I really like Winsdor chairs but have not done a very good job making them. John Kassay's book on Windsors is good as well.
