Another Shaper Question

Is it possible/safe to use a sleeve or bushing on a 30mm spindle to increase the spindle size to 1-1/4"? If so, then it would be possible to use both American and European made shaper cutters.

hi Dick, Sure no problem, I've used them on my 30mm spindle with some 1 1/4" bore cutters that I have. These bushings are available from several companies-Freud Industrial and Guhdo are two that I know of.
