I had a question here... I am the editor of my club's newsletter! The format is PDF and I use the "Cute PDF" writer I think its called. Anyway, I can't figure out how to make the hyperlinks work properly in a PDF file. I am using Microsoft Publisher and creating the hyperlinks in that program is fine... when I convert it to PDF the hyperlinks don't appear to have changed (don't look any different), but you can't click on them! Anybody know how to do this? I am pretty positive there is a way because I have viewed PDFs with live hyperlinks, but I can't do it for my newsletter and it would be a nice thing to have! Anyway... thanks in advance for comments!

You need to be sure to place the entire path in the link...

www.sitename.com/folder/subfolder/file (http://www.sitename.com/folder/subfolder/file)... etc OR:

http://sitename...etc

Check your syntax... Screen text here - usually works.

Some browsers need to be set up properly to go to an external link passes to it by a third program... some won't do it at all. Try to be sure your .pdf reader knows what browser to open in order to connect to the web.

You're link may be fine, you're setup may be 'off' a bit.
