Hey All,

Here's another keepsake box I just completed. It's a graduation gift for a friends daughter.

The primary wood is Walnut with maple splines. The finish is my own blend of BLO and poly. The inside of the box was lined with dark blue velvet to match her school colors.

And as always, comments and critique is always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. Is that etched glass? Did you etch it yourself?

Thanks for the compliments.

Lou,
Yes the glass is etched, and No I didn't do it. My wife does all my etching for me.:D Everything is done by hand (no stensiles) with acid etching cream  , a (very) small brush and carbide scrapers. All I have to do is tell her a theme, or what I'm looking for.
