My first Bud Vase

This is my first attempt at turning a bud vase. It is made of Tiger Maple and stands 10 1/4" tall, 3 1/4" at the widest point and the base is 2 3/4"

and yes it was very hard to turn the Norwegian Forest Cat!!!

Kinda big for bud vase even us Texans. My bud vases tend to be 3-6" tall depending upon the test tube I use. Unless I'm not using the term correctly. It is a nice composition.

Nice vase. Cat looks kinda like my Maine Coon. But he'd be a blur in the pic, unless I'd stapled a chunk of tuna to the desk.
