Lee Valley Dovetail jig/sawguide

Has anyone used the lee valley dovetail guide (the thing with magnets in it) and saw? How does it work for half blinds? Thanks

I have used it for thru d.t.'s but not half blinds. I imagine you could use it for the tails and then partially use it for the half pins ???

Were you satisfied with how it worked for thru_DT's. Pros and cons?

I tried it. You mest be careful or it will eat yur saw blade (in contact with the aluminium). I perfer the traditional method...ypu can runa scribe down the edge w/ a square to keep cuts square,
