Jim thanks for the hint, its my first attempt at posting pictures--actually my 18 year old grandson did it for me. At 68 years old this computer stuff is a bit difficult for me--and a lot of other stuff ain't so easy either.

Great job!!! Is this from the Huey plans? I built one as well. After I built it, I couldn't believe how much height there was to it. It is a substantial piece of furniture. Looks like you did it justice in every way.

Where do you find the plans you were referring to? In one of his books or elsewhere? Thanks. BTW, beautifull piece!!!

I think this is from a Huey plan in Popular WW--but somehow I have lost the magazine. I built two of these-the first for a silent auction we were having at church. When my wife saw it she thought it needed to be in our house--so guess what--it now is in our house. So I built another one and when it was finished and my daughter saw it--guess what--it is now in her house--and I still did not get anything built for the auction. But the two most important women in my life are happy. I had gatherd up from one place and another a good stache of maple without paying more than $4 per bf for it. I didn't have any 8/4 so I laminated pieces for the legs. It would have looked a little better if I had used 8/4. I have enough wood to build another one but the wife really doesn't want me to and since she has been putting up with me 50 years I'll do as she wishes.
