Any update on whether or not we should be concerned about engraving? I have a really high end client who needs Lexan engraved. I would love to make the client happy, but don't want to sacrifice the laser in the process. As always, I turn to the gurus of laser for help!:)

Belinda,

It won't engrave very nice.

I don't think there's any harnm in engraving it but Mike's right aobut the appearance. It turns brown in the engraved area so a color fill is required.

There are some who cut thin polycarbonate daily but I tried 1/4" and will not do it again.

We've done polycard a few times but it doesn't engrave like acrylic and tend to melt more.
