I used to get my thin strips from A&B. Does anyone have a favorite supplier?

I can't remember the name now.

I was down at AB the day they went out of business and one of the guys there was all full of gossip. All the stuff comes from China but there's one guy who's importing it all.

Hi Jody;
No alder, but do have 5/32" walnut, cherry, maple, and jatoba- all 5.75" wide and 12 or 24" long. Not finished but nice and flat and great to work with- also inexpensive.
Best regards;
George

Red Alder comes from China? Red Alder is a North American species. Do you mean it's exported to China, then shipped back here?
