For those of you who have built in fences on a miter saw or RAS bench, did you put T-track on the fence? If so, on the fence face, or on top? I'm leaning toward putting mine on top and making the stops, featherboards, etc, hang over the edge so it won't be in the way of taller stock. Guess they would have to have flip up capability too, but that would be easy.
Any ideas? Thanks! Jim.

My miter saw has a plywood support extending to the left, to hold long pieces of wood being cut. On it, I bolted a T-track which forms my fence - it is inline with the left fence of my miter saw. The open side of the T-track faces up, and sliding stops can be placed anywhere along it.

So, I have a miter saw fence about 1/2-3/4" high, and it is one side of my t-track.

Good luck,
Dave
