Is this a really good one? I see one for sale for $100.00. I did search here but couldnt find.I know its the older to the D4.On leighs site I couldnt even see a pic or much about it.They dont even have the instructions anymore, it says to use d4s.

That's a very good price. I'd jump on it if I were you. Upgrade parts are available from Leigh to upgrade it to a D4.

There's also operating manuals you can download on the Leigh site. The D4 manual works fine.

At a $100, I'd buy it even though I already have the D4...upgrade it and sell it. LOL!

Seriously, great buy and you can get all the parts you need, should you want to update it to current model specs. Leigh is very good about that.

I am still using the oldest 1258 (?) model and it works fine. It is also compatible with all of the templates and is upgradeable should you want to do so. Leigh makes very nice jigs and for $100 I would be all over the D3. Where did you say it was?? :D Seattle is not THAT far from me....

I emailed the giy this morning with no response yet. Its memorial day maybe hes out of town etc.

I did get a 1/2 hp shop fox mortiser today with chisels from jet and bench. I will post pics.Off a auction site.

I have heard alot of people on there do this.They sell it or whatever an dont take it down.I saw it very early on so if he sold it that was quick.
