HI,

Has anyone used the Barrister Bookcase hardware? I know that Rockler has some and there are others out there, I am looking at making that type of door that goes up and slides into the case.

Any info would be great.

I've used the Rockler units and I believe that's what his Norm used on the units he built for NYW. They work well.

I bought one set from Rockler. I did not use them because the spacing between shelves has to be about 13 inches and the depth has to be about 14 inches. Check the Rockler site for the exact dimensions. I made a bookcase that has 10 shelves in two sctions and they are barrister. I made a pass with the router and made my doors to work in the 3/8 inch slot. They work just fine and I could make my spacing and depth whatever I wanted.
