Georges pens. 2 questions; what is this "Bush Oil" you speak of? And have you found anywhere to get the statesman Jr.s cheaper than http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/cgi-bin/shopper?search=action&keywords=jr-statesmans-pen

Nicholas,

Bush Oil is a high quality finishing oil that is produced in Upstate NY. I have only found it available on www.Curiouswoods.com (http://www.Curiouswoods.com) so far. It looks great alone as a finish and also provides an excellent base for buffing. It leaves a finish similar to Watco Danish or Formby's Tung Oil Finish. I like it a lot and its easily available to me though I'm not trying to make it appear to be some Super-Secret-Ultra-Mega finish that you must have.

So far, I haven't found anyplace other than CSUSA that sells the Statesman Jr.

You can get CSUSA pens cheaper when the IAP has their group buys about every three or four months. They order up to $10,000 worth of pens so they get the 25% volume discount. There is no other place that sells CS high end pens.
