My HVAC guy told me about a couple deals I thought I'd share- if they still exist.
He got one of those battery tool kits (drill, circ saw, recip saw, flashlight, maybe other stuff) made by Coleman for $99. They seem decent enough. 18v, probably NiCD (rather than NiMH). Probably Black&Decker or Ryobi quality.
Also, HD had a deal on a 14v Ryobi drill and flashlight kit for $27.
I've not looked to see if these are still available.
I didn't know Pep Boys was still in business...
