Just finished building a patio in the back yard. All dug by hand-no help from anything yellow or orange or green. Me and one other guy and about 100 man hours. Miller time. Hope you like it even though there is no wood to be seen.

Steps at slider and lanscaping are next and maybe a sprinkler system. Have ot learn to tame that green stuff growing everywhere too.

Classy job, Ben. I really like the design as well as the craftsmanship. I'm a builder too (retired) and it's always nice to do something for your own home once in a while. There seems to be some hesitation regarding the irrigation system. Nice lawn and landscaping is important to me and the only way to achieve it is with a system, as you know. Consider putting the zone valves and manifold in your basement so you don't have to work in a small manhole box in the ground when something needs repair. That's the way I did it in my last two homes and I love it.
