This is another recent project, made from Bradford Pear. Thought I lost this one too, a small crack showed up in the bottom but closed up tight.

Don't you just love that Bradford pear. Its such a sweet turning wood and gives you such great results.

Good job Tom.You sure are having fun with fruit tees. I have a lot of splitting with those woods.Any secrets we should know about.

I got in kind of a hurry yesterday when I posted this and forgot some of the details. this one is 3" round and 2.5" high without the lid close to 3" with it.
The finish on the out side is simply Mylands and Renwax, the inside is just Mineral oil and beeswax. No secrets here just tried to turn it even and thin seemed to work this time.
