I've been watching a Delta AP100 air filter at our local Lowes for the past couple of months. It was regularly priced at $219. For the last several weeks, it has been sitting in a clearance bin, marked at $169. I walked past it yesterday, and they had it marked down to $100. I asked the manager if he'd be willing to "sharpen his pencil" a little on it. He said "How about $80?". I said "How about $75?" He said "OK". So, I walked out the door with a brand new AP100 air filter for $75.:D

The Lowe's in my area never has anything in a bargain bin. There are a few returned large appliances, for a whole $10 off, but that's it.

My brother constantly gets great deals from the Lowe's bargain bin in Stillwater, OK. I guess that's where all the bargain items from my area end up.

My Lowes had them for $123. I went ahead and picked one up. I figured at that price I couldn't go wrong.

Is that the triangular one with a light? I bought one of those a month or so ago for $45 with bulbs! @ Lowes. Its OK but not as the 3 speed Jet ?? 1000.

Yeah, it's the triangular one with the light. It may not be as good as the Jet, but chances are, you're not going to find the Jet for that price either.
