Experimenting with a different form. Ended up being a little more like an alien vessel than I had intended, but it's grown on me a little. Dressed the top with a texturing tool. Approx. 6 x 2; buffed seal-a-cell finish.

Mark, I like the form of this one better than the cherry one. This one looks much like the form of Native American pottery. Really beautiful.

Another beauty Mark. I really like the form and texturing. Let me know about the texturing tool. I have one on my mind.

Wow Mark, that's really nice! I like the texturing. The color would also lend itself to some woodburning. Very nice!

Mark,

You'll use that form again. It offers a great surface for inlay and other decorative efforts. I like this piece. Good job.

Ken, it is a Sorby texturing tool. See my "Cherry HF" thread for more info.

Mark, for a guy that's handicapped with a Mustard you did quite a job here! :D Seriously, this is one of the nicest forms of this type I have seen. Congrats Guy! I think you knocked the ball out of the park on this one. Really!!:)

:eek:Mark I think you have a problem, looks like that has a yellow tint to it, could be that mustard paint wearing off.:rolleyes:Cool Hf though.

This is one of the coolest hf's I've seen! The shape isn't quite like any I've seen and the texturing just adds a beautiful effect! I LOVE this piece!
