This is a walnut table I recently finished as a housewarming gift. I had a board with some grain that I liked so that became the top. the legs were ripped from 8/4 stock and the skirt was from the same stock as the top. legs are attached to the skirt with mortises and tenons, top is attached with pocket hole screws. stained with varathane american walnut, one coat, finished with four coats of amber shellac and one top cot of wax. had a piece of one skirt chip out when cutting a tenon and had to sand it down which has caused it to be a bit off and that joint could have been tighter. probably won't be noticed by the person getting it but of course it stands out to me. had a hard time photographing due to the flash, but in person the table is a uniform color.
16"x13.5"x34"
thanks for looking.

Wonderful table. Love the Walnut, top has a lot of character. Nicely done!
