Hi all,

I need to know if coroplast sign material can be cut on the Laser. I have some that are 12x18", I need 10 X 14" so I thought I would just cut them on the laser, but better find out first if it is safe. I did a search but didnot find anything about cutting.

Thanks,

Coro is polypropylene.

You can, but like styrene it gives a bit of a rolled edge. You have to set the laser to cut through the solid ribs so it's too much power on the gaps.

It's a lot easier to just cut with a utility knife and metal straight edge. I've done it for "starbust" and other non-rectangle shaped signs.
