I love turning hollow forms :D, and hopefully I am not boring ya with them all, so heres another one.
This one was fun to turn because of the bark pocket, had to tape it up to keep it from spreading apart.

Boring? Absolutely not! Beautiful wood and form Shane, definitely challenging to turn and keep together. I also like the photo, was the photo created with layers in Photoshop?

Thanks Steve :D
and thanks George! Yes it was done using layers. I used to get pretty serious with photoshop and taught it for a while. This one was a simple, quick job. Heres one thats a little more involved using a couple of my bird pics. If I remember right it had over 40 layers and masks and a few other goodies in it.

Wow! What else is there to say? Gorgeous wood, gorgeous form--lots of pucker factor in keeping it together, I'd say.

Shane, when I get some free time I am definately going to have to learn more about Photoshop and put it to use.

Another outstanding piece. Great wood, great form and obvious couragousness.

Again I have to ask, Is your lawn mower broken? Loose your day job? Win the lottery? Alot of work coming out of your shop lately. Keep it up.

I haven't had a good day of turning since Easter Saturday. Getting to be unpleasant to be around.

...mastered turning is a head spinner!! Pieces like this require techniques that take most of us years to master, and you're cranking them out like hotcakes! Well done!

Wow .. Thanks for all the great comments everyone, they are very much appreciated and I'm glad I'm not boring ya. :D

... Again I have to ask, Is your lawn mower broken? ...
LOL ... Funny ya should ask that cause my lawn mower did break :( The kids were playing out in the weeds and left a car jack out there (dont ask me what the heck they were doing with it). Hit it with my brand new Honda mower  A new crankshaft and a 150 bucks later its up and running again. :D

Thanks again for the comments,
