I was impressed on April 8th when a S#1 sold on ebay for $5,200 but today another sold for $5,805, item 150119464285. Doesn't spoil the pleasure I get from my LN #1 that we bought right at the factory a few years ago. We westerners were on a road trip in the east and when I do those trips I check the internet for cabinetmakers along the route. I make blind calls and most often have a very friendly visit with an accomplished woody. To my surprise when visiting one of these fellows, he asked where we were heading next because "you may be interested to know that LN is just 15 miles down the road". You bet we were! Spent two hours there playing with the tools in showroom, BS'g with the sales rep and getting a plant tour. That Xmas, to my surprise Santa gave me the LN#1, which had travelled throughout the trip in the oven of our camper. Recalling that experience is better to me than landing a S#1 for $5,800.
