heres a couple things i whipped out new years day.First is a juniper bowl about 6 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 with one coat of BLO and then beall buffed , those 8inch buffs dont fit inside a 6 inch bowl very well as a matter of fact they grab hold real good and throw things DAMHIKT.Then comes my first attempt at penmaking the bottom is walnut and the top i am not sure but i think holly its a real hard fine grained wood, nice to turn tho and its covered with hut ppp. The fuzzy pic is an ebony mushroom about 1 3/4 inches tall. And last is a small bowl i saved out of my first attempt at bowl turning its about 4 inches by 2 its made out of a mahogony tree that grows up back of the house on the mountian my son cut a branch off this summer for me to try. its sanded to 220 grit and one coat of BLO.
