I just finished this dartboard cabinet. Thanks to Fred Voorhees and James Phillips for helping me with ideas by showing me theirs.

The wood is mainly cherry. I used a cleat system for hanging the cabinet, and the cleats are made of hard maple. Finished with 4 coats of Sam Maloof oil/poly.

This project represents 2 firsts for me: Dovetail joinery (using my Leigh jig), and Frame-and-Panel door construction.

Well done John!!

Just think, each time you're waiting for your turn and sipping a pint you can say to yourself, "yup, I'm good!"

Nice, I think you should pre qualify all players to be able to hit the board or the black background :) You don't want to end up with those beautiful doors full of holes :) Excellent job.

Well done. A combination diversion and conversation piece to be proud of.
