I just picked up my first planer last night. It's a Jet JPM-13 (planer/molder).

The dust chute that came with it is missing screws and the manual has no info other than that I can order an optional accessory for a dust chute. Yay...

Does anyone have one that could tell me what the size is on the threaded screws that hold that in place so I can grab some?

My other question, I was thinking of trying to put a wixey height gauge on it so that I could zero it out after knive resharpening and such. Anyone have any luck with that? Since it's the table that moves I wasn't sure if it would work out.

Thanks for the info/help.

I believe there M6x1. (Metric) As for the Wixey there website shows a JPM-13 with a Wixey readout on it. I had a JPM-13 for about 8-9 years. I upgraded about year ago. Here's a link to to wixey website. It's at the bottom of the page there are two of them. Listed under "Molder/Planers".http://www.wixey.com/planer/gallery/index.html

Just for future reference. I grabbed some M6-1" 20 tpi screws and that worked great for the back side under the chute.

They're not for the top holes, but I'm thinking it might not matter much. I'll try it out with just the back side screwed in and see how it goes.
