Hello Every Body,
Miss me? Well, the old super computer we built
5 short years ago, just wasn't good enough.
It's good enough to post this now after I started
my killing spree on the hard drive but what I did was....
Spend money.
First off, did you notice that this is my one thousandth
post? Whood a thunk?
Back to the computer, this all happened 'cause I wanted a
larger monitor, maybe two. Then I found this 32 inch,
sharp lcd, high def, aquos, computer ready TV.
SOLD! Then got to thinking again, with the help of
a pocket calculator, that it would be cheaper in the long
run to build a new tower and meet the 21st century.
So no holes barred, I ordered some monster stuff.
64 bit dual core amd athalon chip, asus mother board,
800 watt power supply, water cooled jacket, 4 gigs of
platinum memory(Matched), two 500 gig sata hard drives,
The best video card, sound card, and video capture card
that money could buy. 2, 20x lite on dvd burners.
Not bad for a red neck Hunh?
But watcha gonna do with a monster like that? Silly.
We gonna make movies! Right. you may be thinking.
Nah, the world needs a straight up cross between the Furniture guys and Lenny Bruce to portray the joys and
pitfalls of home construction and woodworking.
See, Old geezer Bob is and was a renowned commercial
cinematographer/photographer in a earlier part of life.
And me? I'm gonna be a star.
So whatcha think?
Here is a couple of shots, notice that the Festool MFT
doubles as a computer build station.
See ya soon.
