This image is the largest item of done yet. It's 4 feet by 5 feet, made of square foot marble tiles. This took about 80 man hours to seperate all the vectors. The image is what I didn't laser away, so yes it took a lot of laser time as well. The next time I do this, I am going to use the tiles that are absolutely black.

Ed that is a fantastic piece of work. I envy you the chance to have making something as large as that, I would love the opportunity, esp if someone else is paying. It might have taken 80 hours of work, but something that large even painted by hand, takes a lot longer. It was worth the effort and a great addition to your portfolio Well done

Very well done! I can see what you mean about using absolute black marble. It would have been that much better.

Nice work, Ed. About the 80 man hours- I guess you didn't use PowerClip and 6 copies of the image? Or use a grid and the trim command?

I don't know how it looks in person, but actually, I like how it shows with the white lines. At least from the picture, it gives it an "aged" appearance which is very fitting.

What are you going to do with it?

I used Corel and blew it up to the 4 ft by 5 ft and placed a line every square foot then sperated each vector.

Scott,
A local church is going to display it in their gazebo.

Ah, that's what I was wondering about.. Normally tiling a large image only takes about 5-10 minutes.
