Could someone out there tell me where I can find prefinished plywood for kitchen cabinets. I'm in New Hampshire. I'm building cherry face frame cabinets and looking for a light color ply for the interior. I'm not a big fan of melamine. Thanks

I can't tell you exactly where to find it in NH, but I'm sure it would be all over the place. Just look up lumber yards in the yellow pages can call around and ask. Not everyone carries it, but you should be able to find several.

I paid about $70ish for maple ply one side. Worth every penny, if you ask me.

Good luck, Sam

Hello Matt. Did you happen to check back on your previous post?

If you would like to contact John directly, here is a link to find info about his business:

I have been buying plywood from John for quite a few years. He has always been able to get me what I have asked for as long as I give him at least a few days notice. I know it's a bit of a drive for you, but he does have pretty good prices. Tell him Mark from New Ipswich told you about him.

Highland Hardwood in Brentwood (rte 125 a couple of miles from rte 101) will order it for you... and their service is excellent.
also Maine Coast Lumber...

Hi Matt,
I second Roger's post - Highland will get it in for you in 2-3 days. Guild members get a 10% discount there too.
Another "plus" is that with many "special orders" the few sheets you order are often shipped to them on a sheet of 3/4 mdf which you can often get as a "freebie" if you want it.

Built any more Windsor chairs lately?

Matt
