I Have A Ryobi 13 Inch Planer That I Changed Out The Hood On And Went With A Hvac 6" Fitting. I Have Plenty Of Dust Collector For The Job 14" Impeller But I Am Still Having Large Chips Shoot Out The Front Of The Planer And A Few Out The Back. Its Not Alot But Enough To Get On Your Nerves. I Was Just Wandering If This Is Still Common Even With A Powerful Cyclone And 6" Pipe All The Way To The Planer. I Did Notice On This Particular Lunchbox Planer There Is Not Alot Of Clearance Between The Blades And The Metal That Surrounds Them Maybe Its Just Not Enough Room For Air Movement. Just Wandering What You Guys Thought.
