I'm making a round coffee table and was wondering how others would attach square legs. There will be a apron or skirt ( which ever is the proper term )
Thanks Brian

You could mortise apron into leg if you want the leg to show through apron at top.
You could pocket hole screw into apron.
You could use specific corner brackets for this application.Buy online, ebay, wood craft.
Me if I had the capability I would mortise.Tenon the apron.

I like using sliding dovetails to attach the legs to the aprons on tables.

I second the m/t. Quick, if you do them, good thing to know how to do if you don't do them. If this is your first crack at it, grab 2 pieces of 2x stuff and give it a whack.
