I've been out of the "round work" stuff for several months and I finally _made_ time to get back on the lathe. Of course, Joseph has been keeping the lathe in shape for me while he learns to turn. ;)

This is a bowl that is 13-1/4" across by 3-1/2" tall. Walls are just under 1/4" thick and finish is Antique Oil and lightly buffed.

Very nice Dennis. The wood has a lot going for it. Make sure you have this one well finished, as it looks like a "pick me up" bowl!

III just don't know about this one how do we know that Joseph didn't turn this bowl???

Just kidding Dennis Very nice indeed. Glad you have returned (no pun intended) to the round world.

Tom,

It really feels GOOD to be back at the lathe.....but only when I can get time on the lathe from Joseph. I have GOT to get that boy his own lathe. ;)

That is a wonderful bowl Joseph's Dad!

You know you want one of those Mustards with the black highlights don't you?

Awesome bowl. I love the spalting. You said you need to get Joseph a lathe. Wrong!!! You need a Stubby and give Joseph the mustard machine.:D
