A couple of small Hollow Forms turned from the scrap pieces of Box Elder burl. The scrap pieces were to nice to burn and I like turning small stuff, its quick and easy. Love that burl grain! :D

Rough turned green and then nuked to dry them out. Around 3 inches tall and a wall thickness of a 1/16th of an inch, sanded to 1200, finished with BLO and CA, buffed and polished with White Diamond and carnauba wax.

Comments/Critiques always appreciated,
Shane

Those are pretty! Nice photo too.

How long did you have to zap a piece that size to dry it out? And how thick were the walls when you zapped it?

Thanks for the comments guys :D

Mark the walls were about a 1/4" and I nuked them for about 10 minutes, a minute at a time.
