This is a fine accessory! I've been wanting one of these for a while and the time was right. This tool comes with several cutting and scraping attachments, and both a straight and swan-neck bar. Also the captive rear rest and a laser which is easy to adjust. This is going to be a lot of fun to work with! Randy makes top-notch stuff, as everyone who buys from him knows.
I gave it a test spin today and made this cherry HF. It's a little over 9" diameter and about 4" tall. This is just roughed out; I will finish turn it after drying.

Hi, Mark.

George, I turned it green. It was from a cherry tree that my next door neighbor cut down. Kind of a mutual favor...he didn't have to cut it into short logs to haul it off and I scored enough timber to keep me out of trouble for a while. Or get me in deeper trouble, 'pends on how you look at it.;)
I had my reservations about whether or not I could turn something like this green and expect it to remain intact, but I've seen where a few Creekers have done so successfully. I left the walls about twice the intended final thickness. Here's hoping....:)
