Hello, from a newcomer

I have been lurking and learning for some time, there certainly is an enormous amount of knowledge on this forum.
My background is in electrical engineering, I'm currently plant manager of an expanded polystyrene molding plant. I have been working with wood for the past five or so years, It's a great stress reliever. The photo is of my latest project for the upcoming birth of my first grandchild.

One nice thing about cradles is that they tend to get handed down and around quite a bit, since each occupant doesn't stay very long. It could be interesting to add a small marker of some kind for each new user, so that over time the cradle would show its history.
