Think I'll join in on the NE fun too. ;)
Another one from this weekend, 8" across the wings and about 2 1/2" deep.

Great piece with a nice shape -- I like the coloring of mulberry! Does this stuff darken with age, though? Don't know how you guys keep these together so well while turning them so thin!!

Very nice NE Travis! Did a great job on centering! Like Bruce, I am curious as to what you used as a finish. Nice work!

Another beauty Travis. I just got some mulberry to turn. How was it turning and what finish did you use?

Travis great job. I like the color . Was mulberry hard to work with, and did you have a lot of tearout?

I like this one a lot Travis, it looks delicate.

Yes Jonathan, Mulberry will darken with age. I haven't found it difficult to turn at all. The finish is my go-to Minwax Antique oil, then buffed with the Beall setup.
