I have an old Diston 10 point light cross cut hand saw I bought right after WWII. I have used it a lot but it is still in pretty good shape. However, a number of year ago I decided I was going to sharpen it and began filing the teeth to rough shape . I got only a few of the teeth roughed out and decided I was going to learn to play the saw. Found I liked playing the saw and never proceeded with the sharpening. Now I have a musical saw that I use and I would like to return my old Diston to service. Unfortunately I sold my saw vise, setting tools, etc in my auction and don't want to buy or build another vise. I live in Kyle, Tx and haven't been able to find a saw sharpening place near here. I guess they are becoming extinct. Does anyone know of one?

Sounds to me like you'll have to ship it out to Cooke's sharpening in York, Penn.
