Well last Friday was a GREAT DAY!

The Edward B Mueller company in Cincinnati delivered my new Table Saw!:D

A Shop Fox W1677 left tilt saw w/classic Shop Fox fence!
Basically a Grizzly 1023 with a white paint job and a 2 year warranty!
(Thanks again for all of the advice on my saw selection!)

I spent Friday Evening unpacking / cleaning up the table.

The Grizzly citrus degreaser worked very well.

My Garage smelled like an orange exploded for a couple of days!

It took four grown Men to lift the saw off of the pallets and set it on the mobile base!

The table saw went together very easily.

The fence was also very simple to set up.

I attached a Rockler out-feed table that I had on my old CMan.
(It's temporary / I plan to build something bigger / nicer)

The electrician came by on Monday so all that is left to do is some fine tuning
(check the run out / minor fence adjustments etc.)

Thanks again for all the advice I got while shopping for this saw!

GROWN MEN???? I took my Jet cabinet saw (Also purchased at Edward B Muller) out of my pick-up and into the mobile base myself. LOL!!!!

Great place to buy equipment. The only place I buy my bigger stuff.

I thought this was a interesting too.

Granted it was only the center section no wings or fence but I slid on carpet my 1940 Unisaw out of my pickup & down the angled tail gate & picked it up & set it on a furniture dolly to wheel it into my shop. Well maybe they made the saws lighter back then...not.:) The side walls of the case are somewhere between 3/16" & 1/4" thick.:D

I have a herniated disc in my neck and a fouled up rotator cuff.

So doing this by myself was out of the question..

Better to have too many than to few.

Plus the grill was fired up and the beer was cold, so the guys were at the house already and willing to help..

Your right Clint. I didn't have any help available & needed to get it out of the truck. Bad back & all. Of course it also depend on how you do it. Lots of help is always great.

Clint, Congratulations on the new saw I have the 1711 shopfox and it is definately heavy. I had a forklift to put it on my van and built a ramp to get it off the van in my shop so that I could handle it alone. I've had mine for two years this month and couldn't be happier with the saw.

I have a herniated disc in my back waiting for surgery next Monday. Probably because I unloaded and set my saw on a mobil base by myself! Who was the smart one?:( Actually I used my engine hoist and that made it pretty easy, the back problem is because of all the years of abuse before I smartened up.

That's a great saw!:D Put a quality blade on it and you have a smooth cutting machine. Now if I could just get the boxes of LOML's assorted junk off of mine, I might be able to make something.:( That the plan for Saturday.
