My wife has been adding art glass (fused, aka warm glass) to her company's catalog and has an oportunity to work with a lighting fixture designer to make the glass shades for wall sconces. The lighting store that is hooking them up is in Pasadena, CA near many of the A&C bungalows (the son of another friend who introduced my wife and the lighting store owner does the landscaping at the Gamble House).

For inspiration she listed several A&C/bungalow interior decorating books she would like. Short of getting all of these from amazon (or hoping they are in stock at the local Barns&Noble), can you recomend books that would give her a good representation and inspiration especially for lighting in this style? (Below is a sample of her work)

Thanks for any suggestions,

Smith Victor makes a copy stand that may work for you. Google Smith Victor copy stand and that should let you see what they offer. They are not the best in the world. Another option would be a lighting tent used in combination with electronic flash. You can spend as much money as you can afford to light items for display or publication. There are several books that cover this. Check the auction site for Kodak lighting books.
