This 8 3/8 in. wide X 4.5 in. high NE wild black cherry with a lacquer finish carries the # 1000.

Great looking piece. I never thought to keep track of the number of pieces I have done, to tell the truth I have no clue. Now that I heard this I wish I would have kept track.

Very nice Glenn! I wasn't sure If I would try a black cherry NE, and even though I know mine won't look as good, I'm going to try it anyway. Some of the other cherry NE bowls I've seen just didn't strike me as some of the other woods have.... until now that is.

Glenn, I went back and read your turner interview and if I did the math correctly you've averaged over ten a month. That's impressive!
