I spent this weekend demoing for my Guild with my mini. This is one of the finished pieces. Endgrain Hackberry, turned like a dream. 5 1/2" tall by 4" diameter. Got the finish buffed yesterday.

This form has got to be my favorite of all the HF's. The way the sides flow down to the base is always pleasing to my eyes. Great job as always.

Travis;
I really like the hackberry colors, what tools did you use to to the hf, I have not tried one yet. You make me want to try it. Great Job.

You did not ask for a critique so I guess that I can't tell you that the form is great and the wood is also. :)

That natural grain design really adds to the piece. The flow is great. Really nice piece Travis.

Thanks everyone. Rex, I used the mini hollowing rig I made for my Jet mini. The original thread is here.

I've reworked it some, with a new laser mount and system.

Nice work! That is a gorgeous hf with some nice grain waves (ok, lame pun intended - I honestly hate puns though :D:D)! But really that wood is awesome as is the finish! What did you finish it with? Another great piece, Travis!!!

Super job, Travis!

I like the form and finish on this piece very much! Interesting grain patterns, too.

Another spectacular success!
